Shadow Day
Every year, CSA hosts shadow days, panels, and seminars for prospective families. Students interested in applying during the current admissions season are encouraged (but not required) to attend. Families are welcome to attend one of each kind of session.
Find out more information below and click the buttons to sign up for available shadow dates and times. Shadow days are limited to 30 prospective students per date and are for students only. Parents who scholar-artist is accepted into CSA will have opportunities for tours during parent orientation and signing day.
We also encourage all prospective families to see a performance. Information on performance events can be found on our events page.
There will be no shadow days in August, December, January, and April

Shadow Day Detail
- Shadows are scheduled on Tuesday or Thursday*
- Exception for school tours
- Special days include performances, community meetings, and other school-wide events
- NO Shadows during testing weeks or during Aug/Dec/Jan/April
- Students will sign in at the Main Office and receive a welcome packet
- Students will receive a building tour and attend class periods with the host student
- Cell phones should be silenced and out of sight during shadowing
- Parents are not permitted to attend shadow day
- Students will return to main office following their arts classroom visit to be picked up by parent/guardian
- Students will not receive lunch while at CSA so please plan accordingly
